OPERATIONS MANAGER - NEW BUSINESS

April recently joined the New Mexico General Office as the Administrative Manager in 2015. April is a Texas native who graduated from Texas A&M University-Texarkana with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing. April began her career with New York Life in August 2011 in the Kansas General Office. In February 2013, she was accepted into New York Life's prestigious Associate Administrative Management Program. During her training, she trained in various locations including the Dallas General Office. April has over 10 years of customer service and leadership experience. Her ability to connect with people has helped build positive relationships with employees and agents alike. April brings fresh ideas to the New Mexico and her unique approach to management will bring about a positive change within the General Office.

ONSITE SERVICE LEADER

Michelle embarked on her journey with New York Life in 2011 as a General Office Associate in Contracting and Licensing. With 15 years of prior experience at another mutual insurance company, she seamlessly transitioned into a hybrid role, managing contract and licensing, new business, and general office administrative tasks. Known for her dedication and expertise, Michelle has been a mentor to peers in her General Office and several other General Offices nationwide. After excelling as the Office Coordinator in the New Mexico General Office, she earned a well-deserved promotion to Onsite Service Leader.

Outside of her professional commitments, Michelle is a proud mother of two adult children and a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren. She cherishes her free time by attending her grandchildren's football and baseball practices and games, as well as long wrestling matches, always actively supporting their various activities. Family and creating cherished memories with her loved ones are of utmost importance to Michelle.
