John Obregon was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated high school in 1980 and soon afterward enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in a variety of assignments including 14 years of service with the U.S. Army’s Elite 82^nd Airborne Division. John Obregon was also a Drill Sergeant for three years serving in a Basic Training Company and as a Drill Instructor at the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant School in Fort Jackson, S.C. His last seven years of service were in the field of Recruiting. John Obregon retired from the U.S. Army in 2003.  John Obregon joined the New York Life in March 2003 and began work in the Northern California General Office. . John is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and is a consistent Executive Council Qualifier. John’s awards as an agent include the Centurion Award, Triple Crown, and Shared Success.   He currently resides with his wife Anna and their six year old daughter Madison.
